Nikita Lobanov

Nikita Lobanov is an Academic Tutor at the University of Bologna. He holds his PhD in linguistics. He has published articles on diverse topics such as on the activities of the Italian radical right, the role of the fandoms online in the contemporary political discourse and the role of humour during the Spanish Flu: “Spanish Flu: The First Modern Case of Viral Humour?” His research interests are focused on the influence of memetic virality on the offline, cycles of disgust and digital tribes.
